Hi! My Little One (7 Month 3weeks 8 Kg) Had

Hi! my little one (7 month 3weeks 8 kg) had rise in temperature (38.2C) . After giving him 1.2 mg paracetamol I noticed that it's 8 month expired. What would be the side effects of this?
Fortunately; his temperature dropped to 37 and he looks fine except for normal teething pain. But I'm not sure if he is really good.
