Hi, My Mom Of 85 Years Has Suffered Hand Tremors

Hi, my mom of 85 years has suffered hand tremors (could be mistaken for parkinsons) for years. She is now hospitalized, a re-assessment of her medications has been done. Lorazipam has been stopped along with adjustments of other medications and now her tremors or (shaking) has decreased by 80%.
Could lorazepam be the reason she had these tremors or shaking?
