Hi, My Mother Has Terminal Liver Cancer And The Doctors

Hi, my mother has terminal liver cancer and the doctors have given her about 3 weeks. She is extremely malnourished and weak and today we asked the doctors to give her some kind of drip just to get her more energized. They took some convincing but finally agreed. She is now receiving a glucose drip and I'm wondering how beneficial this is for her? Will it affect the cancer in any way? I'm asking this mainly because I've heard that glucose feeds cancerous cells.
