Hi, my mother-in-law is a dialysis patient, has been for the past 6 years. For the past two weeks, her abdomen has been extended and bloated. She is not sleeping well due to uncomfortablens, pain, and loss of apetitie. Dr. ordered a sonogram of her abdomen to rule out fluid retention. But that is the end of their cocern. I am worried. What would be the next step?
