Hi my name is Bonnie Shaffer . My Grandson is suffering from gasteoparesis and Colon-paresis. The pain is so intolerable that he wants to end his life. It started with Diabetes at age 12. He is now 23 and has been able to eat or drink because of the pain and is plugged up and can't have a regular bowel movement without horrific pain. We have had him to many Dr's. Flew him to Canada to an herbologist, Has gone to the University of Utah, several Different Dr's in Salt Lake City, Utah No one knows how to help him and he is dying. His kidneys are damaged, His liver is damaged. He wants to die. We don't want to lose him. He only weighs 117 lbs Now. He can't take pain pills, it makes his stomach worse. He can't stop heaving and heaving. Could he have a colostomy bag put on and would that help ? Could he have pain patches? Something, anything, for the pain !
