Hi, My Name Is Cathy, And I Was Wondering......at Night

Hi, my name is Cathy, and I was wondering......at night while I am sleeping, I feel my toes crunching together, and it wakes me up, it also feels painful for a few seconds before it goes away. It happens 2 or 3xs during the night. Do you know what might be causing this.....Thank you
