Hi my name is Lucy l am 54 years old on the 18 the of December l was diognised with ulcerative colitis after being in hospital l was given sulfasalazine 500 mg which l take 4 tablets in the morning and 4 again at night time l also take one 40 mg esomeprazole tablet in the morning and was given 40 mg of panafcortelone which now l have been taken for the last two weeks about two days ago l experienced a very sharp pain on my left side of my hips with sharp shooting pains running down my legs this pain went away with taken a paracetamol codeine tablet but last night this pain came again l cannot explain the server pain that come with it taken my breath away like a nerve pain it has now settled down again do you think this is from the medication l am taking going to see a specialist tonight
