Hi My Name Is Mary. Why Am I Having Spasms

Hi my name is Mary. Why am I having spasms on my Rt. upper quadrant. I have a gallbladder problem. I have had a liver abscess with drainage in the past year. Also had a small bowel resection in Dec. 2013 cause from a blood clot. But now I am having these spams and they hurt a lot.
