Hi My Name Is Sharon - I Have Been Taking

Hi my name is Sharon - I have been taking eliquis for about a month now and two weeks ago I fell and badly bruised my leg from the knee down to ankle. Most of the bruising has subsided now, however, I do have discoloration on the shin along with a purple line down and slightly to the right in the center of the shin. It is painful when walking too much and even gives me sharp pains when sitting still. What can this be?
