Hi My Name Is Samantha Hensley, I Started My Period

Hi my name is samantha Hensley, I started my period this morning and was having normal cramps but around 11 o'clock the pain changed locations and rose to an intensity level I have never experienced before, the bleeding also dramaticly increased.. Then around 2:30 the pain stopped suddenly, I was wondering if anyone knew if I could be experiencing something like a cyst or if it was just an unusually painful period? I am sexually active and do not use birth control.
