Hi My Niece Is 7 Months Old And His Weight

Hi my niece is 7 months old and his weight is 7.2 kg He cries a lot because of his gas problem and at every 5 to 10 minutes he cries until he burps 4 or 5 times. Doctor has suggested colicade for him... so is it safe for him n in how much quantity we can give it.. is it safe for to give him on daily basis.? Is there any other medicine for him?
