Hi, My Period Is 7 Days Late... All Tests Are

Hi, my period is 7 days late... All tests are negative. We were trying to conceive around the time of ovulation. I definitely know my period is overdue as I know the date of my last period.
I was unwell with flu at the time of ovulation.
Should I believe the negative test?
