Hi, My Question Is I Been Having Mucous Come Out

Hi, my question is I been having mucous come out of my rectum for approx 1 math, I had colonoscopy done approx 1 1/2 months ago, 2 weeks after having procedure started with mucous, spoke with gastroenterologist that did procedure he said that is normal, which the rectum/colon develops mucous which I understand but to continue still with mucous discharge with bad order, sometimes very little and sometimes mucous comes out size if quarter best describe, would very much like to get your professional advise
