Hi My Question Is Kinda Yucky But I Am Sure

Hi my question is kinda yucky but I am sure had worse questions. I think I have a tampon lost inside me,but I'm not positive I put one in last night or not. N.e. ways my boyfriend was trying to have sex with me while I was half asleep and so I think I have one lost in me. I have tried searching for it with my finger several times today but no luck. I do smell an ungodly odor coming from there. Should I go to the ER or what do you recommend? Do I wait until tomorrow to see urgent care or my ob or should I go to ER tonight?
