Hi My Sister Is In The Hospital In The Hospital

Hi my sister is in the hospital in the hospital in critical condition. She had a kidney transplant about 5 years ago and was on progra f . They now think she has evans syndrome and took her off progra f for a couple weeks. She is on steroids now and back on progra f. She has a critically low platelet count at 11,000. They gave her a treatment of RItuximab yesterday and will give her 3 more in the next 3 weeks. My question is should she have been put back on the progra f? Do you think a spleenectomomy would help her at this stage or not? We are waiting for the surgeon to come and talk to us today or tomorrow. We are scared she will not make it through the surgery. Thank you for any any suggestions you might be able to offer. She is 61 years old.
