Hi, My Son 11 Has A Tooth Growing In The

Hi, my son 11 has a tooth growing in the roof of his mouth..as a baby he knocked his tooth on the frame of a portable cot and the tooth died. Last year he told me about his tooth. Is it dangerous, or does he need it removed. He has no problem with the tooth.
