Hi, My Son 6.5years Age, 15Kg Is Having Viral Fever

Hi, my son 6.5years age, 15Kg is having viral fever for last 3 days. As per his pediatrician advice we was given Volatren suppository at 11.40pm when his temp went to 38.9. He has also been advised Ibrufen syrup 8ml every 8 hours and his next dose without suppository was due at 3pm. It is 3pm now and his temp is 36.1. Should I give him the Ibrufen dose or should I wait for min 6 hours from Volatren for any further medicine. Pl advice.
