Hi My Son Is 4 Years ,he Just Got Circumcised

Hi my son Is 4 years ,he just got circumcised a week ago ,and his bandage wasn't off ,so I soaked him in the tub ,and I unwrap it in a gental way ,the reason why I took it off ,it's because it was smelling really bad,his penis head looks red and it's still smells but it doesn't bleed,what should I do ?
