Hi My Son Fell And Banged His Mouth Around 9

Hi my son fell and banged his mouth around 9 hours ago and has tore the bit off skin inside the upper lip between his two teeth. Can this be treated or will it just heal itself ? It's quite a big wound and is still bleeding slightly, he won't eat and doesn't want me to brush his teeth either, he is only 1. Thanks
