Hi My Son In Law Hurt His Back 2 Rupture

Hi my son in law hurt his back 2 rupture disc and 2 bulging disc in his back. He had a spinal injection and was given a medrol dose pack for 6 days but he only took it for 4 days . He started acting paranoid worrying about loosing his job .Two days after his last dose of medrol at 12 midnight he said he wanted to exercise . So he ran out of the house with a tank top and pants and started running all over town in 30 degree weather . My daughter frantically called 911 and the police found him @4 am doing push ups near a auto store . They admitted him in the hospital and gave him nsaline Iv. Lab work came back CPk levels were 23,000 . His mental status is he is not making sense . He is not himself mentally , I know he is voiding well . I believe he is physically he is ok . His mental status is not right . Do you think this behavior is from the steroids . Or didhe psychologically have a break down . Well it clear and if so how long ?
