Hi, My Son Is Going To Nashville For An Unlimited

Hi, my son is going to Nashville for an unlimited time. He is a Type 1 Diabetic and uses NovoRapid in his insulin pump. I have read that it is very expensive to buy in USA. What is the best way for him to be able to buy this? I have heard of Novo/Nordisk Patient Assistance Program, do you know if he would be eligible for this as an Australian on a 12 month visa? Do pharmacies in the USA recognise prescriptions from Australian doctors? What would you suggest he do for ongoing support with his diabetes? Are there diabetes clinics and does he need a referral ? Would he be better of looking for an endocrinologist?
