Hi, My Son Recently Passed Away And I Was Told

Hi, my son recently passed away and I was told that he probably had a seizure and bit his tongue and choked on the blood, but after the inquest they said there was no sign of choking and there were no bite marks on his tongue. My question is - why was there blood coming out his mouth ? thank you
