Hi, My Son Said He Has This Smell And Taste

Hi, my son said he has this smell and taste of burnt rubber. I asked him if he had been having issues with his food coming back up and he said yes everday. So he is complaing of feeling not being able to breath out of his throat but no panic breathing and it hurts.
