Hi, my wife is 27, she's 12 days late on her period, has a regular 28 day cycle & her last period was on the 16th of March , so she did a pelvic scan. Below is the detail:
Ultrasound shows a normal sized and anteverted uterus.
It measures 51x49x47mm (LS x AP x TS) and returns homogeneous myometrial echoes. Outline is regular.
Endometrial stripe is thickened (14mm).
Both ovaries and adnexae are sonologically normal.
Pouch of Douglas is empty.
