Hi My Wife Is About Fifty And Needs Apparently A

Hi my wife is about fifty and needs apparently a hip type surgery. In the meantime she is in extreme pain but has had trouble with side effects the few times she tryed Percocets, andOxycontin. What other strong drugs are there? or should she try the previously mentioned drugs again only at a smaller dose?
