Hi, my wife is two week pregnant. Before conceiving she took a shot of eema HP 5000 iu on 14th day of her cycle as her follicle size were 16x17x19mm and 15x17x17mm on 13th day. When pregnancy report was positive the doctor gave one more shot of eema HP -5000 and advised to continue same dose on every 8th day for 2and a half months and Progesterone capsules(Luteum 200) Is it safe have this HCG injection.will it have any adverse effect on baby like birth defects. Pl help...
