Hi, Over The Past Few Days I've Noticed The Riges

Hi, over the past few days I've noticed the riges on the roof of my mouth (just the right side) feel inflamed but then toward the back of the roof of my mouth, tiny black dots. Haven't a clue how it started
I am a 27 year old female. I do smoke but not many.
