Hi, Recently I Was Fishing And I Got Punctured In

Hi, recently I was fishing and I got punctured in the hand by a fishing hook while helping a someone tie the hook on the line.... After it happened I was told by that person that they did the something just a couple minutes before I did....my question is: If that person had HIV could it be transmitted onto me.... I don't remember seeing any blood on the hook. Kind regards
