Hi So 3 Years Ago (give Or Take A Few

Hi so 3 years ago (give or take a few weeks) I got a really bad cut in between my two end toe and got treated then but for the past few months I have been having really bad, red, itchy peeling skin in between my toes but especially in the spot where I got the bad cut. Do you think these problems correlate? If so what do I do? If not should I still get my feet checked out?
