Hi, So, I Have Not Had My Period In 2

Hi, so, I have not had my period in 2 months, I have sore and tender breasts and I've gained weight, but I took an at home pregnancy test and it came back negative, I do believe I did the test incorrectly, but people said that it would have came back positive anyway.
