Hi So I Started Birth Control 2 Weeks Ago And

Hi so I started birth control 2 weeks ago and the day before I started it I took Ella. I was wondering if that would throw it off i can't remember if my doctor said wait till your cycle is normal. Bc I had some spotting a few days after I started bc that's when I was suppose to have my period. But 5 days ago I had unprotected sex and I was wondering if I'm covered from that with my birth control
