Hi, The Back Of My Left Leg Has Been Hurting

Hi, the back of my left leg has been hurting for a couple of week. My ankle will swell as well. I have been keeping my leg up on a pillow as well, when I do this the swelling goes down. I don't have any idea of what is wrong. No chest pains, nothing like that. I would appreciate any input you may have.
