Hi There After Inserting A Tampon Before Bed Last Night,

Hi there

After inserting a tampon before bed last night, and in the morning being unable to pull it out, I was unable to take the tampon out until I got home from work which was some 17 hours later.

I do not have any symptoms of TSS but I wanted to know whether now that the tampon has been removed, TSS can still develop? I have been told it can develop a few days after removal of the tampon.
