Hi There, I Am 8 Weeks Pregnant And Have A

Hi there, I am 8 weeks pregnant and have a TSH level of about 19 at 5 weeks pregnant my TSH was 61 but came down to 19 now and is getting better. My maternity doctor seemed confident that there would be no developmental issues as I'm being treated however my internist basically told me i should have been using conception until my levels were better and gave me the indication there were going to be developmental disabilities. I'm getting so many different answers and i'm so frusterated. Please help.
