Hi There, I Am Curious... I Have The Mirena Since

Hi there, I am curious... I have the Mirena since 2012. I have been diagnosed with an eye problem. This problem is called White Dot Syndrome. Which if I do not get injections in my eye I will go blind. Could this be related to the Mirena? My specialist I am seeing says I have caught a virus. When I googled this syndrome is does suggest hormonal in mid 40's women which I am. Cheers
