Hi there! I am currently writing a novel, and the main character gets in a car wreck and is in a coma for a week. I am trying to create a real experience for the readers, and I would like to know: What do doctors do when a patient wakes from a coma? Are they alerted electronically, or would someone in the family rush out and tell you?
