Hi There, I Had Strep Throat For About 2 Weeks

Hi there, I had strep throat for about 2 weeks and then had a abscess on my left tonsil which was drained. I have not been on medication for a week now and haven't had any symptoms of a sore throat or white spots but my tonsils are still severely swollen. The left one is touching my uvula and the right one is close to touching it. I was wondering if this is normal ? And how long they should be swollen for after this?
