Hi There, I Have A Feeling In The Back Of

Hi there, I have a feeling in the back of my throat that feels like when you swallow a piece of food and it gets stuck there. I've looked with a light but can't see anything. I feel it in the back of my tongue now too. It doesn't hurt but is very bothersome. About two weeks ago and spotted a puss pocket in the back of my throat was able to scrape out what best described as a piece of dime sized booger than was completely surrounded by skin. It didn't smell. Sorry, this is really gross but I just don't know what to think of it.
