Hi There, I Have Random Upper Abdominal/chest Pain For Several

Hi there,

I have random upper abdominal/chest pain for several years now. It was diagnosed as mesenteric adenitis when I was nineteen and told that it would go away on its own. It didn't. It got better after two years, but in the past year, it has intensified. Usually, it starts at night. I will either wake up in the middle of the night with it, or it will spring on me within a matter of minutes. Sometimes it will go away within a half-hour and sometimes it takes a long as two days to feel normal again. It's a lot of pressure and tightness. My ribs feel really sore. No position is comfortable, and even breathing can hurt. Tylenol can help take the edge off, and other times it does nothing. I have never been able to figure out what the trigger is, otherwise I would avoid it. Thank you for your time.
