Hi there!
I just came home from the hospital. I was given a tilt table test to determine my heart problem. As of right now, my diagnosis is vasovagal syncope, but they are still running tests.
During my test, I was given nitroglycerin to lower my blood pressure to see if I would faint. I vaguely remember one of the doctors saying my blood pressure was 30? I'm assuming systolic because I already have low blood pressure. Sitting down, my systolic bp was 92, I was feeling fine. I'm asking to see if it could be possible or if I was imagining things as I was very close to fainting, I did not faint though.
If I were given nitroglycerin during a tilt table test, being monitored by 3 doctors, what would they have likely let my blood pressure drop to?
