Hi There, I Was Told On 03/11/2015 That I Have

Hi there, I was told on 03/11/2015 that I have a Bartholin cyst and was put on antibiotics and referred to my gynecologist should it get worse; But the antibiotics helped and cleared my infection however I could still slightly feel the swollen gland. My periods started today and I noticed that the gland started to get sensitive again 2 days ago, not to the point of being painful, just uncomfortable. I would like to remove it and I've read up on the condition and it's really scary, does this mean I have an STI?
