Hi There, I'm 36 And Based In Australia And Have

Hi there, I'm 36 and based in Australia and have just received blood test results for a progesterone check. My levels came in at 55 on day 21. I believe this is a high reading, as the normal range is around 25. I have just had a tiny amount of spotting occur on day 25/26. Any idea what could be causing the spotting? Also, what could be the reason for my high progesterone levels? I am hoping to get pregnant but have had spotting occur about 3 days before my period each month. Due to this, I was concerned I had low progesterone, so had the blood test, but it came back with a high reading. Can't find out much about this online. Many thanks
