Is there any alternative to Fucidin H cream.

I have what looked like a small itchy pimple a few days ago on my right underarm. In 24hrs it had grown larger, darker, and was clearly visible. At first it felt like a lump but now just feels like a big irritated and sentistive inflamated pimple. A few days later..I noticed a few smaller pimples within the area of that same underarm and got concerned. Now more are showing up and I am afraid they will have the same result to the other one. They are itcy, sensitive, moderately painful and cause discomfort when I strech my arm and the area gets affected.
I have seen 2 doctors..one saw the previous larger pimple and reffered me to a surgeon to over view it.
The second doctor reffered that it might be a infection to do with shaving, waxing e.t.c and the soap/deodorant used. He prescribed Fucidin H cream.

Seeing as the cream is on the pricy end and I am one who doesn't not like to take medication. What alternative can I use of the area concerned? Natural or medicated?
