Hi There! I've Been Attending The Doctor For Months With
Hi there!
I've been attending the doctor for months with pain during/after sex. It started with burning externally, and swelling/ pain inside.
I was diagnosed with thrush and then abnormal cells, and the burning now seems to have stopped.
However, the swelling after intercourse is getting worse, and having not had sex in three days, since then I've had a dull ache, higher than before, which gives occasional sharp bursts.
I feel like the last few times I've attended the doctors, they're running out of suggestions, and have been told my symptoms are peculiar repeatedly.
Could this be caused by cysts? My mum had polycystic ovaries and describes her pain being similar.
I've only seen my GP but never been referred to a gynaecologist.
