Hi there,
I've had many vaginal complications since the age of 14 but they seem to be getting weirder and weirder.
First off, I've had issues with vaginal odour over the past few years accompanied with discharge ranging from brown to thin and white. I recently visited a gynaecologist who gave me medication for thrush. In the past, I've also taken medication for a yeast infection. However, the odour hasn't gone away and is starting to affect my life. I am relatively hygienic and even with a thorough shower, I just cannot get rid of this smell that even people around me are starting to notice.
(To add, I couldn't possibly have an STI as I have never had sexual intercourse.)
Another complication that has come up has to do with my vagina itself. I got my period and I get it very regularly (every 28 days with a few days to spare) and I have been using tampons for years, however, upon using my tampons like I normally do, I all of a sudden am experiencing a lot of pain inserting and removing my tampons and they feel extremely uncomfortable when they're inside. I decided to have a look and behind my hymen seems to be a small mass thats obstructing the entrance to my vagina. When I push the tampon in, the mass disappears with the tampon but makes it painful to insert them and I can feel it inside of me. I even wait a while between using tampons to ensure I'm not too dry but I still experience the pain. In addition to this, my period has been extremely light and watery with a lot of blood clots.
I don't know what to make of all of this and I'm starting to worry a bit but my gynaecologist didnt seem to pick anything up the first time. What should I do? Please help me.
