Hi There, I've Noticed That I Have A Skin Flap

Hi there, I've noticed that I have a skin flap that protrudes from my vaginal opening. I first noticed it when my boyfriend and I had sex for the first time; I didn't have it before then. It's been a little over a year and it hasn't gone away or even changed. Is it something I need to worry about? It isn't painful or uncomfortable unless I'm on my period (I use menstrual cups).
