Hi There My 12 Month Old Boy Has Developed A

Hi there my 12 month old boy has developed a rash he has been unwell and is off his food he is drinking bottles I had him at Doc last Thursday and they told me he had a red throat could this be causing the rash??? The rash is under the skin and blotchy could this be the virus coming out??
