Hi There! My Mom Had A Stroke In September 2015

Hi there! my mom had a stroke in september 2015 and she's still suffering the consequences. to control her seizures, she used to be on 500 ml of depakine per day and she quite answered well to it. but following a minor attack, her doctor prescribed lamotrigine (75 ml per day) and depakine (250 ml per day). and now she seems to show numerous side effects of lamotrigine such as increased urination, tremor, hypotesion, vomiting, dizziness and a masked like face (fixed gaze). i was wondering what to do as her doctor insists on the fact that lamotrigine is a really safe drug.
