Hi There, My Partner Is 75 And Was Diagnosed 3yrs

Hi there, my partner is 75 and was diagnosed 3yrs ago with copd, 8 weeks ago he was hospitalised with double pneumonia, whilst there a scan showed advanced pulmonary fibrosis, he has come to live with me and now 4weeks home he is on 8lt oxygen 24/7, he can only walk from one room to another and is completely wiped out for bout ten mins after he falls asleep on the hour for 10-15mins and coughs nonstop, nobody will tell me if he will pick up and stop oxygen eventually or if this is a dos wood slope !! I need some idea of what's ahead , I wish more info was available re life expectancy, Geof is convinced we will be on a cruise at Christmas, I can't see it myself what do u think hi future holds .
