Hi There, So This Is About The Depo Shot. So

Hi there, so this is about the depo shot. So I recieved my first depo shot March 3rd. Everything seemed pretty well, I thought okay maybe I really like this birth control until April 14. On the 14th I noticed I was having this brown/red discharge and I thought okay maybe my period probably will pass in 4-5 days. Nope, I have been havin to deal with this for 9 weeks.so a few days ago I finally made an appointment with my doctor and she put me on birth control pills(Trinessa). I was on this pill before the shot and never had a problem. So will the pills stop the spotting??? Please it's literally ruining my relationship.
